Ana Julião

Ana Julião is a Brazilian digital illustrator. Born in 1994, Ana’s life as an artist started at a young age. She took her first course in digital painting as a teenager and then later graduated with a degree in graphic design from UMC - Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes in 2013. What started as a hobby has become an essential part of her life.

Her illustrations are based on different references and styles of painting, “I invest in every new illustration I make to learn to create in a new and more beautiful way. I define my work as sweet and feminine. The sweetness can be found in the look, the movement, and colours of all the different women I create. My goal is to convey the characters so that if you look into their eyes, you can feel the depth of their emotions.”

Ana uses Adobe Photoshop as her primary creative tool, along with her tablet and iPad Pro. Her inspirations range from fellow artists working in digital painting, to photography, flora, fauna, painting, sculpture, models, stamping, and the illustration works found in books and magazines.

Today she combines the work of freelance illustrator with graphic designer. She hopes that in the future, she can work solely in illustration and use her knowledge and creative works to share her passion worldwide via courses and lectures.
