Veronica Ballart Lilja
Veronica Ballart Lilja is a Swedish illustrator based in New York. She obtained her degree in graphic design from IDEP in Barcelona and spent 15 years in Spain before moving to New York. Veronica has been working as a full-time illustrator since 2007 and her clients are mainly in the fields of fashion, textile, editorials, magazines, advertising, packaging and stamps.
Most of Veronica’s work is in watercolour, mixing different painterly techniques. Her style is described as feminine, colourful and sensitive.
Her book, If You’re Bored With Watercolours, Read This Book (Octopus Publishing Group) 2017, has been translated to several languages and published in countries including the US, UK, Brazil, Germany, France, Spain and Sweden.
