David Stegmann
David Stegmann was born in Freiburg, Germany in 1982. He is a freelance artist who runs his creative practice from his studio in Staufen, Germany. David has been a Foundation Artist of the Morat Institute, Freiburg since 2016.
Stegmann’s artistic work describes a new understanding of the existence and life of man on Earth. He created his early artwork in the street and urban art scene where he developed his pictorial and formal language.
His body of work has evolved throughout his career. David’s current practice focusses on Informalism, though his recent group of works was influenced by abstract figuration.
He has been represented internationally at numerous exhibitions, including Art Basel Miami. His artworks can be found in many private and public collections.
