Lavinia Longhetto

She is an artist of Inarte Werkkunst Gallery, which has spaces located in both Italy (Sevilla and Cadice) and Germany (Berlin and Hamburg). Lavinia has held exhibitions at both gallery locations.

Lavinia embraces different ways of artistic expression. Her works are created by drawing, with which she represents an exasperated female body that suffers the consequences of violence and time.

In 2012 the artist founded her first independent social art project: ‘In Violence.’ This project continually evolves through the experimentation of different media. Lavinia’s artworks are differentiated by her unique graphic style which gives shape and expression to the body, to its veins and its articulations.

In her artworks, Lavinia mixes art influences from different artists including Egon Schiele, Francesca Woodman, Arnulf Rainer, Alberto Giacometti, Marlene Dumas and Jean Michel Basquiat.
