Artist Juan Emilio Checa Quevedo, was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he currently resides.

While working on his advanced studies in engineering, he acquired a foundation in technical drawing, and his artistic leanings were acquired through the influence of his creative father. He took these foundations and built upon them to realise his artistic abilities and then entered the world of art in 2015. Currently, his works are primarily created by applying acrylic paint to canvas. He focuses his work on the search for beauty through imperfection. The final result of his compositions is an accumulation of organised chaos, in which the equilibrium of disorder itself is sought.
