Veronica Aguilar
Veronica Aguilar is an illustrator from Florence, Italy. Within her work, you can see the cultural influences from both her Italian mother and Mexican father.
Born in Florence in 1993, Veronica studied art at the Art Institute of Florence where she perfected design and learned the techniques of engraving; engraving, in particular, has heavily influenced her style.
In 2016 she graduated as a restorer of paintings from the European Center of Restoration, Florence. During her studies, she never stopped drawing, whether it was for a private commission or her own personal projects.
The most recurrent subject in her artwork is nature. Her attention to details and the crossed signs in ink are typical of her style. She loves creating images that intertwine with one another, bringing life to new forms.
