Yuji Takahashi

 
 

Illustrator Yuji Takahashi currently resides in Tokyo, Japan. 

He holds a Master’s Degree of Design from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Fine Arts Department of Design.

Yuji’s works are nostalgic and imaginative. Architecture is a popular subject within his work that is largely created from acrylic paint and sand. 

He was recently commissioned to illustrate the children’s storybook Yamabiko Kun produced by the magazine and book publisher Nihon Bungeisha, located in Tokyo, Japan.

Yuji has produced several solo exhibitions, including PERSPECTIVE (2017), Pinpoint Gallery, Looking at the Geometric Sky (2018), Hakkendo Gallery (2018), The House (2018) and Poem (2018). Yuji also showcased his work at the 2018 Art Expo, Malaysia.

He works from his Tokyo studio, where he produces exciting designs daily for an ever-expanding list of clients.
