Andrea Ringli
“My name is Andrea Ringli, and I’m a freelance illustrator. I live in Zurich, Switzerland, where I was born and raised.
I studied graphic design at the Lucerne School of Art and Design. In 2014 I illustrated my first picture book, I Wish I’d Been Born a Unicorn, for Maverick Arts Publishers.
My illustrations are inspired by nature, my cat, and my everyday life. I mainly work digitally, but I still love using pens, brushes and pencils. My favourite software is Adobe Photoshop and the Procreate App. Besides drawing, I like gardening, pottery, entomology, and riding my bicycle.”
