Sólveig Hólm is an Icelandic ceramic and sculpture artist. She draws her inspiration from her childhood and old fairytales. On numerous occasions, critics have acclaimed her work and have stated that Sólveig’s sculptures are “just otherworldly”.
She obtained her degree in 1998 in ceramics and sculptures from the prestigious art school, Escola Massana ´Art Disseney, Barcelona, Spain. Prior to this, she graduated from the Reykjavík School of Visual Art in 1995.
Sólveig has had numerous solo exhibitions as well as participating in a group gallery exhibitions.
